A week on from exhibiting again at Takeaway Expo 2019 and our sales team are still buzzing from another great show. It was fantastic to see all the innovation happening in the hospitality sector, catching up with customers & meeting new faces.
Highlights for us this year included:
Panel debate: How to improve your customer experience
We heard interesting contributions from the likes of Dave Tuplin at Pocket Waiter and Rick Kirkham at Customer Touch Point who gave us thought-provoking insight into the next-generation diner and what they expect when eating out - think personalised and immersive customer experiences.
Seminar talk ‘How to Keep a Traditional Food Brand Relevant’ from Pizza Hut's General Manager (UK) Neil Manhas
Along the lines of retaining today's modern customer, we heard how Pizza Hut, as an established brand, are dealing with the pressures of trying to stay relevant in an ever-evolving consumer climate.
- And lastly, it was innovative software solutions that sparked our interest. These are the SaaS solutions that are emerging to solve these challenges for QSR and casual dining brands and help them evolve to serve the customer better. These range from front of house loyalty and real-time feedback solutions to back of house automation software that are designed to work alongside existing tech such as EPoS to provide a joined up and cohesive workflow.
We look forward to finding out what will be the next big thing at Takeaway Expo 2020, see you there!
