It was great to exhibit at Restaurant Expo 2017 again this year. Fantastic to see lots of EPoS innovation which we at pointOne are proud to be leading with our cashless kiosk solutions.
Highlights for us this year included:
- Seminar talk ‘From 6 to 21 Tills: Lessons learnt from a cashless store’ from the founder of Tossed, Vincent McKevitt.
Vincent spoke about the challenges he faced in serving customisable food which can be slow to produce and how he overcame the problem by ultilising technology including our cashless kiosk solution.
- Seminar talk ‘Personalised nutrition is going mainstream – are you ready?’ from dietitians Mariëtte Abrahams & Emily Foster.
Interesting to hear how restaurants can respond to the growing customer demand for personalised nutrition needs by using digital technology. pointOne’s kiosks can display nutritional data to customers and give them a real-time picture of their order/basket including any allergen information, putting them 100% in control of their nutrition in-take.
- And lastly it was innovative software solutions that sparked our interest, namely the customer management tool, Como Sense and the labour management system Bizimply.
Como describes itself as a Swiss army knife of modules for its clients as it combines CRM, BI and loyalty all rolled in one but, best of all, it integrates fully with POS including pointOne’s EPoS solutions.
Robert Paterson at Bizimply filled us in on their clever piece of kit that helps businesses with everything from shift scheduling to HR and payroll, and all assessible via desktop and app, making staff management easy-peasy.
